So, for some last minute inspiration, I'm sharing a quick card that really packs a punch! I used five of the new Neon Lunar Pastes from Simon Hurley (Hot Mess, Voltage, Dart Frog, No Chill and Mood Ring - links below), and applied them through the Brush Strokes Stencil from Clearly Besotted.
I used Simon Hurley's paste tool set, and applied a blob of each of the five colours next to each other horizontally along the top of the stencil, using the small spatula tool. I then took the wider stencil tool, and used it to drag the paste down the stencil, to cover the entire area.
I set the background to one side to dry, and raided my stash of pre-made coloured images (if you're ever in a creative rut, a great thing to do is just to colour some of your favourite stamp sets, then set them aside for another day - you'll thank yourself later when you need to make a card quickly!). I found this adorable guy from Clearly Besotted's Colour Chameleon stamp set, and fussy cut him out.
Once the paste was dry, I added my chameleon with foam tape, heat embossed a sentiment on to black card, and also added that with foam tape. To finish, I used a few clear enamel dots, then matted my panel on to a fog coloured notecard.
Really fun, quick and simple to create, and my word - those neon lunar pastes shine! I love how luminescent they are in real life.
