Craft & Connect July Challenge: Christmas in July
Yes, we just did it. We used the C word. In July. But "Christmas in July" has become one of my favourite traditions in the past couple of years, and let me tell you, come November, I am thanking July me for making a dent in the Christmas card list!!
We have also included a colour palette this month's challenge mood board for a bit of further inspiration - top marks if you include both, but feel free to do one or the other!
We're so happy to have Louise Cooper as our guest designer this month, having won last month's challenge. Louise has made this beautiful Christmas card in the colour palette for the challenge:
Louise used Honey Bee's ‘Lovely Layers Poinsettia’ dies Honey Bee's ‘Lovely Layers Winter Greenery’ dies for the foliage. Cardstock was all Concord and 9th (except for the middle shade of lilac where Louise ink blended some lilac ink over pink cardstock to meet the challenge palette - way to stretch your supplies, Louise!).

Challenge rules
Create a card, scrapbook layout or other handmade project with Christmas as the theme, and/or use the colour palette for inspiration.
• Create a new project (it can be a card, scrapbook layout, mixed media project or anything else your crafty heart desires) that fits with the month's theme;
• You can use any brands you love;
• Enter the challenge by posting it on social media (Instagram or Facebook) with the hashtag #craftandconnectchallenge
• Each month, the challenge will be open from the date the challenge is posted until 5pm (UK time) on the final day of the month;
• Winners will be picked at random, and will have the opportunity to guest design for a future challenge;
• Winners will receive a prize, which will be set out with the details of that month's challenge.
If you use the hashtag #craftandconnectchallenge you will also have the opportunity to be featured in our Stories!
